Vaphotographer features the images by Virginia photographer Candace
(Candy) Schoner whose passion for photography is only surpassed by her limitless creativity.As a former photojounalist, Candace seeks to capture the sights, sounds, and images of everyday life through natural lighting thereby being able to share the beauty of a single moment in time as seen through her perspective. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Candace was raised in Maryland and lived in various sections of Virginia and New York. A portion of her work depicts her love of landscapes from the mountaintops of the Shenandoah Blueridge to the rural flatlands of Central Virginia. Her photographs have appeared in several magazines and publications including the Tough Times Companion book series published by the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities from 2003 to 2006. Candace now lives in Charlottesville, Virginia where she is Top Dog at Lapdog Productions, a graphic design, website, and photography agency.
